Facilitation Skills Courses

Each course also has an optional second module of a further two days - dates for these are arranged with participants during the first module.

Details of our next course
This course is currently available on an in-house basis.

AIMS
To introduce and develop skills which may be used within training, consultancy or other situations where others are assisted to achieve results.

PROCESS
The course is based on NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Accelerated Learning. NLP may be described as a branch of applied psychology and allows for easy understanding and rapid skills development. Accelerated Learning provides ways of identifying participants' personal learning styles and designing training so that each person can gain maximum benefit. Participants will be able to use both NLP and Accelerated Learning techniques themselves as a result of the course.

PARTICIPANTS
Participants may possess varying degrees of experience and will still be able to participate fully in, and benefit from, the course; it is not necessary to be familiar with facilitation, or with NLP/Accelerated Learning prior to attending.

STRUCTURE
The course is run on a modular basis, allowing for absorption and practice between sessions. The final day has an open format, providing opportunity for in-depth practice and application to specific work contexts.

FORMAT
The course is practical, experiential and interactive, with a range of exercises and activities involved throughout. Group size is kept small, so individual attention can be maximised. Participants are given feedback on their performance throughout the course and assessment processes include peer assessment, through group feedback. The atmosphere is informal and friendly and many past participants have established and maintained ongoing contact and support with each other.

DATES
Module 1: To be announced
Module 2: To be announced

Times are usually 9.30am - 5.00pm.
The course will count for CPD (continuing professional development requirements) for most professional bodies.
A certificate will be given to participants successfully completing the course.
